Youssif "Coach Moose" Hemida
Head Coach
Youssif "Coach Moose" Hemida earned his nickname the moment he walked onto the campus of the University of Maryland at 6'5" and 250 lbs, but don't let the size fool you. Praised throughout his career for moving like a lightweight, Hemida went on to become the most decorated heavyweight wrestler in University of Maryland history. A two-time NCAA All-American and three-time World Team member, he served as an Olympic alternate for both the Tokyo and Paris Games while competing on the international stage for five years after his college career. Now he brings that same championship standard to every practice at Ground Control Wrestling Club.
